The Whirlpool W11129407 Range Downdraft Vent Transition Kit enables efficient routing of cooking fumes from a downdraft range to the home’s ventilation system. This kit includes the components needed to connect the downdraft vent outlet to compatible ductwork, helping guide air smoothly through the exhaust path. During operation, it directs smoke, steam, and odors downward and away from the cooking surface, supporting proper airflow and ventilation performance. A secure transition helps minimize air leaks and reduces resistance within the duct system. Designed to meet original fit and compatibility standards, the kit supports straightforward installation. Replacing or adding a proper vent transition can improve kitchen air quality, support effective ventilation, and help the downdraft system operate as intended.
