The Whirlpool W11229610 Refrigerator Freezer Door Gasket creates a seal around the freezer door to help maintain proper internal conditions. Made to fit around the door frame, this flexible gasket compresses when the door closes and forms a barrier between the inside of the freezer and surrounding conditions. It supports proper door closure and helps reduce unwanted air exchange around the door edges. Replacing a cracked, worn, loose, or damaged gasket can restore a proper seal and support consistent freezer operation. The replacement part also helps prevent warm air from entering through gaps around the door. This gasket is designed for compatible refrigerator models and should be checked against the appliance model before installation to ensure proper fit.
