The Whirlpool W11101059 Washer Lid Assembly provides proper closure and access to the wash tub on compatible top-load washers. This replacement assembly forms the upper cover of the washer and works with the hinge and lid-lock mechanism to keep the tub enclosed during operation. When the lid is closed, the locking system detects its position and supports the washer’s operating cycle according to the appliance design. Installed at the top of the cabinet using the existing hinge and mounting points, it aligns with the surrounding frame for proper closure. The assembly supports safe washer operation, helps contain water during cycles, and assists in maintaining correct lid alignment for consistent use.
