The Whirlpool WP22003059 Washer Drain Pump Motor removes used water from the wash tub and directs it through the drain hose. Located near the lower cabinet area, the motor powers the pump impeller to create water flow from the tub to the external drain line. Proper pump function supports efficient draining after wash and rinse cycles and reduces standing water. A worn or faulty motor may cause slow drainage, unusual noise, or water remaining in the tub. Replacing the motor can restore proper pump performance and wastewater removal. Designed for compatible Whirlpool washers, this replacement component provides a practical solution for maintaining consistent drainage.
