The Whirlpool WP27001006 drive belt helps transfer motor power to the washer’s drive system for proper drum or tub movement. Installed around the motor and drive pulley, the belt moves as the motor operates, transferring rotational force to the connected components during wash and spin cycles. A properly functioning belt supports smooth and consistent washer operation while helping maintain the intended movement of the drive system. Replacing a stretched, cracked, worn, or broken belt can help restore normal operation when the washer makes unusual noises, fails to agitate, or does not spin properly.
