The Whirlpool WP312535 drum roller shaft washer helps maintain proper spacing and alignment within a compatible dryer drum support assembly. Positioned at the drum roller shaft, this washer acts as a spacer between connected components, helping reduce direct friction and supporting smooth roller movement during dryer operation. Proper placement helps the drum support system function as intended and can minimize unnecessary wear on surrounding parts. Replacing a worn, bent, damaged, or missing washer can help restore correct component positioning and support quieter, more consistent drum rotation. This replacement part is designed for select dryer models and should be checked for compatibility before installation.
