The Whirlpool WP33001003 Lint Screen Filter captures lint and fabric fibers from laundry during the drying cycle, helping maintain proper airflow inside the dryer. Installed in the designated lint screen housing, this filter collects debris carried by the moving air before it can accumulate in the dryer’s exhaust system. Regular cleaning of the screen supports efficient airflow, promotes consistent drying performance, and helps reduce lint buildup. A damaged, clogged, or missing filter may affect dryer operation and allow lint to collect in unwanted areas.
