The Whirlpool WP348197 Dryer Flat Washer distributes pressure between fasteners and connected dryer components to support secure assembly. Placed beneath a screw or bolt, this flat hardware part provides a smooth bearing surface that reduces direct contact between adjoining materials. Its design promotes even load distribution and supports stable fastening within the dryer assembly. By maintaining a consistent contact surface, the washer contributes to proper component alignment and reduces localized wear around fastening points. This small but functional hardware piece serves as a spacer and load-distribution component, supporting secure connections within the dryer’s mechanical structure.
