The Whirlpool WP35001193 Thermal Fuse with Bracket protects compatible dryers from excessive temperatures by interrupting the electrical circuit when the specified temperature limit is exceeded. The thermal fuse is mounted on its bracket, which secures it in the designated position within the appliance. When excessive heat triggers the fuse, it opens the circuit and stops the affected function, reducing the risk of overheating-related damage. A blown thermal fuse may prevent the dryer from heating or operating as intended, depending on the model.
