The Whirlpool WP358237 Washer Agitator Bolt is used to securely fasten the agitator to the washer’s drive assembly for proper washing operation. This bolt holds the agitator firmly in position, allowing it to move with the drive mechanism and create the necessary water and fabric movement during wash cycles. A secure connection is important for maintaining consistent agitator performance and preventing unwanted movement or looseness. A worn, damaged, or missing bolt may cause the agitator to become loose, resulting in unusual noise or reduced washing performance. Replacing the bolt can restore proper agitator mounting and normal washer operation. Designed for compatible Whirlpool washer models, this replacement fastener is used to maintain reliable agitator function and everyday washing performance.
