The Whirlpool WP37001287 Lever Shaft Idler Pulley Assembly maintains proper belt tension for smooth and consistent dryer drum operation. This replacement assembly includes the lever shaft and idler pulley, which work with the dryer’s drive belt to maintain alignment and tension as the drum rotates. The pulley turns with the belt while the lever mechanism provides the necessary support and adjustment during operation. A worn or damaged assembly may cause belt slipping, squealing, rattling, uneven drum movement, or difficulty starting the dryer. Replacing a faulty assembly can restore proper belt tracking and reduce unnecessary strain on the drive system. Designed for compatible dryer models, this practical component supports stable drum rotation and reliable everyday drying performance.
