The Whirlpool WP616099 Hose Clamp helps secure washer hoses to their connected fittings and supports a stable, leak-resistant connection. This replacement component applies pressure around the hose, holding it firmly in place as water moves through the washing machine’s plumbing system. A properly fitted clamp helps prevent hoses from slipping off connections and reduces the risk of water leaks during regular washer operation. If the original clamp becomes loose, corroded, or damaged, it may compromise the hose connection and contribute to leakage.
