The Whirlpool WP660532 Standard Y-Frame Surface Burner provides a stable cooking surface and supports consistent heating on compatible ranges. This replacement burner grate is positioned above the surface burner, allowing cookware to sit securely while heat from the burner reaches the bottom of the pan. Its Y-frame design provides support across the burner area and accommodates cookware during everyday cooking. A damaged, warped, or worn grate may cause unstable cookware or make the cooking surface less convenient to use. Replacing the grate can restore proper pan support and maintain the intended arrangement of the range surface.
