The Whirlpool WP688805 Knob Spring Clip for Dryer securely holds the control knob in place during everyday dryer operation. This replacement spring clip fits within the knob assembly and provides the necessary tension to keep the knob properly positioned on the control shaft. Its spring action helps maintain a secure connection while allowing the knob to turn smoothly when selecting drying settings. A worn, loose, or damaged clip may cause the knob to wobble, slip, or become difficult to operate. Replacing the clip can restore proper knob fit and improve control adjustment.
