The Whirlpool WP8299642 Washer Clutch transfers rotational force to the wash basket for proper agitation and spinning. Installed between the transmission and basket drive assembly, it regulates motion transfer and supports smooth basket acceleration. A worn or damaged clutch may cause slow spinning, poor agitation, or unusual noises. Replacing a faulty clutch can restore proper basket movement and consistent washing performance. Designed for compatible Whirlpool washing machine models, this replacement part provides a practical solution for a damaged clutch and supports reliable washer performance.
