The Whirlpool WP8540360 Washing Machine Baffle Drum Tub lifts and redistributes laundry during drum rotation to promote consistent washing and effective fabric cleaning. This component is installed inside the washer drum, where its raised structure guides clothing through repeated tumbling motions. As the drum rotates, the baffle moves garments through water and detergent, allowing more uniform contact with cleaning solutions. Its design reduces fabric bunching and supports steady laundry circulation throughout the wash cycle. The baffle also contributes to proper garment distribution, preventing clothing from remaining stationary during washing. Designed for specific washing machine models, it provides a secure fit within the drum assembly and maintains consistent fabric movement for thorough cleaning results.
