The Whirlpool WP8577891 Dryer Thermostat Fix is a replacement component associated with the dryer’s temperature regulation system, supporting appropriate heat control during operation. A thermostat monitors temperature changes and controls the heating circuit according to the dryer’s design, preventing temperatures from exceeding the intended operating range. Proper temperature regulation supports consistent drying performance and normal appliance operation. Replacing a faulty thermostat component can address certain heating problems and restore the dryer’s intended temperature control when the original part is defective.
