The Whirlpool WP912652 Dishwasher Door Spring balances the dishwasher door and supports controlled opening and closing. It applies tension through the door hinge system to counterbalance the door’s weight and reduce sudden dropping when opened. This replacement component supports stable door movement during loading and unloading. A broken, stretched, or worn spring can affect door balance and make opening or closing difficult. Designed for compatible dishwasher models, this spring provides a practical replacement for restoring proper door tension without replacing the complete door assembly. Its main function is to maintain balanced movement and consistent door positioning throughout regular dishwasher use.
