The Whirlpool WP9760774 Range Broil Element produces high heat from the top of the oven for broiling, browning, and finishing food. This replacement heating element converts electrical energy into heat when the broil setting is selected, providing the temperature needed for effective cooking. A properly functioning element supports even heat across the upper oven area for consistent browning. A worn or damaged element may cause weak heating, uneven results, or difficulty reaching the desired temperature. Replacing the element can restore proper broiling performance and steady heat. Suitable for compatible Whirlpool range models, this component provides a practical replacement for a damaged or faulty broil element.
