The Whirlpool WP9763761 Range Infinite Switch restores proper heat regulation by controlling the power supplied to a compatible surface heating element. This replacement switch is installed behind the control panel and connects to the burner control knob, where it cycles electrical current on and off at varying intervals based on the selected heat setting. The switching action regulates the surface element's temperature to accommodate different cooking requirements, from low simmering to high heat. Designed for compatible Whirlpool ranges, this component integrates with the existing electrical system and control assembly. By providing consistent burner operation and accurate heat adjustment, it assists in maintaining reliable cooking performance during everyday use.
