The Whirlpool WPW10136934 Dryer Drive Belt connects the motor pulley to the dryer drum, allowing the drum to rotate during drying cycles. Positioned around the drum, the belt transfers motor movement to the drum to tumble clothes through the heated air. It forms part of the dryer’s drive system and maintains the connection required for drum rotation. A worn, stretched, or broken belt can cause the drum to stop turning. This replacement part is intended for compatible dryer models and restores the belt connection when the original part is damaged. Compatibility depends on the dryer model and drive system configuration.
