The Whirlpool WPW10144820 water inlet valve with thermistor helps regulate water entry and temperature sensing in a compatible washer. Installed at the washer’s water supply connection, the inlet valve opens and closes in response to electrical signals from the control system, allowing the required amount of hot or cold water to enter the washer. The integrated thermistor monitors water temperature and provides information to help the washer manage the selected cycle.
