The Whirlpool WPW10179455 Dishwasher Drain Pump Housing encloses and supports the drain pump, providing a stable structure for wastewater removal. This component holds the pump in position and forms part of the drainage pathway that carries used water out of the dishwasher. Its housing design maintains the pump’s placement and supports the necessary connections within the drain assembly. By containing the pump and directing water toward the discharge path, it contributes to organized drainage during dishwashing cycles. The housing serves as a structural component of the dishwasher’s drainage system, supporting proper pump positioning and consistent wastewater flow during regular use.
