The Whirlpool WPW10190965 Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly automatically produces and releases ice cubes for convenient freezer storage. Installed in the freezer compartment of compatible refrigerator models, it fills the ice mold with water and freezes it into cubes. Once frozen, the ejector mechanism moves the cubes into the collection bin, preparing the mold for the next cycle. This process provides a consistent ice supply without manually filling ice trays. Replacing a damaged or faulty ice maker can restore automatic ice production and proper cube release. Suitable for compatible Whirlpool refrigerators, this replacement assembly provides a practical solution for common ice-making issues and routine refrigerator maintenance.
