The Whirlpool WPW10192990 Hot Water Inlet Valve regulates hot water flow into compatible washing machines during selected wash cycles. This replacement valve connects to the hot water supply and opens or closes in response to electrical signals from the washer’s control system, allowing water to enter when required. Proper valve function supports controlled filling and suitable water delivery for wash settings that use hot water. A faulty valve may cause slow filling, insufficient hot water intake, or unwanted leakage.
