The Whirlpool WPW10195175 Detergent Dispenser releases detergent during the wash cycle to support effective dish cleaning. This replacement component stores detergent and dispenses it at the appropriate stage of the cycle through the dishwasher’s release mechanism. Proper dispensing supports the removal of food residue from dishes, glasses, and utensils. A faulty dispenser may fail to open, release detergent improperly, or leave detergent unused after washing. Replacing a damaged dispenser can restore proper detergent delivery and consistent cleaning results.
