The Whirlpool WPW10198086 Dryer Drum Drive Belt connects the motor pulley to the dryer drum, allowing the drum to rotate during drying cycles. Fitted around the drum, the belt transfers motor movement to tumble clothes inside the appliance. It forms part of the dryer’s drive system and maintains the connection between the motor and drum. A worn, stretched, or broken belt may cause the drum to stop turning or rotate irregularly. This replacement part is intended for compatible dryer models and follows the belt routing specified by the appliance design. Compatibility depends on the dryer model and its drive system configuration.
