The Whirlpool WPW10207928 Range Membrane Switch-Black enables accurate input control for selecting cooking modes and temperature settings on the range control panel. This component is a flat switch assembly that operates by registering pressure on marked touch areas, sending signals to the control board to activate corresponding oven or surface functions. Installed behind the front control panel, it integrates with the display and electronic control system to relay commands efficiently. As part of the range interface, the membrane switch improves responsiveness during operation, supports consistent command recognition, and maintains proper communication between user inputs and internal controls, contributing to dependable range performance during routine cooking tasks.
