The Whirlpool WPW10249845 Washer Pressure Switch monitors the water level inside the washing machine and signals when the required level is reached. This electrical component detects pressure changes created as water enters the washer and converts these changes into signals for the appliance’s control system. Installed inside the washer cabinet and connected to the pressure hose and wiring, it supports accurate water-level detection during filling and washing cycles. The switch assists in regulating water intake according to the selected cycle requirements. Replacing a damaged pressure switch can restore proper water-level sensing, support consistent filling operation, and help prevent incorrect water levels during wash cycles. This part is designed for compatible washer models, so model details should be verified before installation.
