The Whirlpool WPW10253483 Washer Door Lock Latch secures the washer door during wash and spin cycles, maintaining a firm and properly positioned closure. This replacement latch fits into the door-lock assembly and keeps the door in place while the washer runs. A worn or damaged latch can cause door-closing issues, cycle interruptions, or difficulty starting the washer. Replacing the latch restores proper door alignment and secure closure. Suitable for compatible Whirlpool washer models, this component provides a practical replacement for a damaged or worn original part. Proper installation ensures accurate positioning and consistent door security during regular washing cycles.
