The Whirlpool WPW10318961 Refrigerator Wire Shelf provides stable storage space while allowing consistent air circulation throughout the refrigerator compartment. This shelf operates by supporting food containers and packages while its open wire design promotes even cooling across stored items. Installed inside the fresh food section, it fits securely onto the interior support rails and integrates with the shelving system for proper alignment. As part of the refrigerator’s storage structure, it improves organization, maintains airflow between compartments, and supports efficient temperature distribution. Replacing a damaged shelf restores usable storage space, supports orderly arrangement of items, and helps maintain consistent cooling performance during refrigerator operation.
