The Whirlpool WPW10356257 Water Inlet Valve for Washer controls the flow of water into the washer during each cycle. This replacement valve uses electrical signals from the washer’s control system to open and close the internal valve, allowing hot or cold water to enter the tub at the appropriate time. Proper water flow is important for filling the washer to the required level and supporting consistent washing performance. A functioning inlet valve can prevent problems such as slow filling, insufficient water flow, or continuous water entry caused by a faulty valve.
