The Whirlpool WPW10384849 Washing Machine Motor Electronic Control Board manages the electrical signals that regulate motor speed and drum movement during laundry cycles. It receives instructions from the washer’s control system and coordinates motor operation according to the selected settings, supporting the required actions for washing and spinning. Proper functioning contributes to predictable cycle operation and consistent drum performance. When this board develops an electrical fault, the washer may struggle to start, experience interrupted cycles, or show irregular motor activity. Installing a compatible replacement can restore the intended motor-control functions and support normal appliance operation.
