The Whirlpool WPW10514214 Washer Water Level Pressure Switch monitors tub water levels and signals the control board when the selected fill level is reached. Connected to the tub through a pressure hose, it detects air pressure changes as water enters the washer. These pressure changes correspond to the water level, allowing the control system to regulate water intake for different wash cycles. A faulty switch may cause overfilling, underfilling, or incorrect water levels, affecting wash performance. Replacing a worn or damaged switch can restore accurate water-level sensing and proper filling control.
