The Whirlpool WPW10594329 Damper Control Assembly regulates airflow between refrigerator compartments to maintain consistent cooling conditions. Designed for compatible Whirlpool refrigerators, this assembly controls the passage of cold air from the freezer section into the fresh food compartment. Its damper mechanism opens or closes according to temperature requirements, adjusting airflow to maintain the desired compartment temperature. Proper airflow control can reduce temperature fluctuations and support more consistent food storage conditions.
