The Whirlpool WPW10655367 Refrigerator Drip Pan collects excess water produced during the refrigerator’s automatic defrost cycle. It receives moisture carried through the defrost drainage system and holds the water in a designated area beneath the appliance, allowing it to evaporate gradually. This component supports proper defrost water collection and reduces moisture buildup under the refrigerator. It serves as a replacement for a damaged, cracked, or worn drip pan in compatible refrigerator models. By containing collected water, the pan helps limit unwanted spills beneath the unit and supports routine appliance maintenance. Its specific function is to manage defrost moisture and maintain a designated collection space for excess water.
