The Whirlpool WPW10705575 Dishwasher Turbidity Sensor is an intelligent diagnostic component designed to optimize wash cycle efficiency by precisely measuring water clarity. Positioned within the sump assembly, it directs an optical light beam through the circulating wash water, detecting soil particle levels by measuring light refraction as the water flows past. By providing real-time cleanliness data to the main control board, it dynamically adjusts cycle length, water usage, and temperature to deliver optimal cleaning performance without wasting resources.
