The Whirlpool WPW10611615 Range Broil Element provides the concentrated heat needed for broiling, browning, and finishing foods in compatible ranges. This replacement broil element is designed to fit within the upper portion of the oven cavity and works as an electric heating component controlled by the range’s oven control system. When activated, electrical current passes through the element, causing it to heat and produce radiant heat that cooks and browns food placed below it. A properly functioning element supports consistent broiling performance and used to maintain the selected cooking cycle. Replacing a burned-out, damaged, or unevenly heating element can help restore proper oven operation, improve cooking results, support even browning, and provide reliable everyday range performance.
