CARDA's Young Innovators Drone and Aerospace STEM Program in Coimbatore is for school students from Class 6 to 12. It teaches aerospace thinking, the physics of flight, how drones work, drone programming and mission planning. Students build drones with their hands and learn about AI model building, Python programming and IoT basics. The program is offered as a 2-day weekend workshop, a 5-day holiday camp, or a term module, with 20 students per batch so experts can give them attention. Students are also prepared for competitions like WSRO's drone category and ISRO's IRoC-U challenge. The program helps students learn about careers in aerospace, including at ISRO, HAL, DRDO and drone startups, giving students in Coimbatore a real head start in engineering. It is very good for students who want to learn about aerospace and drones.
